Hi Everyone,

This question might be a bit out of the cBioPortal troubleshooting approach but I need to ask you if anyone used the clinicaltrails.gov site as a second validation cohort for clinical data. I need this to confirm the findings after the TCGA analysis.

Is there any way to access clinical information (like OS,  PFS, age, sex, etc.) related to a particular clinical study in clinicaltrails.gov, or I should contact the group directly if they could share their data.

Looking forward to your advice and have a good weekend.

Best regards--

Hi Mohammed Imran Khan,

Thanks for reaching out.
I'm not sure whether I completely understand your question but you can look at https://gdac.broadinstitute.org which is the source for TCGA data included in cBioPortal.
With regard to clinical data in clinicaltrials.gov my advice would be to contact the authors. Some data from studies in clinicaltrials.gov may exist in public databases or as supplements of publications based on those data.

I hope this helps.

Best,
Paul
