Good afternoon,

My colleagues and I at SA Pathology have not been able to use the “Query by Gene” function in cBioPortal for the past 2 days. We have tried in both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

We are able to access the search page from the Query page (ie select “curated set of non-redundant studies”, click “Query by Gene”) but when we enter the gene into the search box, the next page does not load, we are left with a blank screen, which persists and does not time out with an error message.

The “Explore Selected Studies” page has still been working successfully.

Is this a known problem at the moment?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Can you tell me exactly what steps are you following? I've tried to run a query in www.cbioportal.org and it is working for me.

Thanks.

Hi Chani,

This should be fixed now. Apologies, we introduced more rate limiting due to the increase of agent traffic but it broke this functionality

Let us know if you still experience any issues

Best wishes,
Ino
