Hello,

I have noticed that there are some small differences in the overall survival and disease free survival tables downloaded for TCGA depending on whether FireHose Legacy or Pancancer atlas is selected. You can see the two tables I have attached for survival in BRCA as an example.

I am wondering which table can be considered more up to date and whether one should generally be preferred?

Best,

Hi Richard,

The PanCancer Atlas studies come from a more recent re-analysis of the TCGA samples and I would therefore recommend using those datasets over the Firehose Legacy datasets (which reflect an older version of the data).
