error when loading study

to cBioPortal for Cancer Genomics Discussion Group

hi-- when i load a study with ~30k patients, all of which have multiple timeline data elements and sequencing data, the study dashboard page loads and is usable for about 60 seconds before I receive this error message:

Hi Rebbeca,

Thanks. It looks to me like this instance is running into a problem with the size of the data. Version 7.0 of the portal introduces a new database technology and many other optimizations which should address the problem. It is currently in beta but release is imminent. Are you in touch with the maintainers of the portal?

hi aaron-- sorry, ive been in contact with ino and gaofei on slack. I am the maintainer of this instance, so im going to wait to implement V7 to handle this large cohort.
