Understanding normal and diseased TCGA Id's

Hello,
How can we differentiate between normal and diseased TCGA ids in Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma (TCGA, Firehose Legacy) (cbioportal)- RNA expression data, as I need it to calculate log fold change value based on a normal and diseased sample.
Kindly help

Hi Rasika,

cBioPortal only has mRNA expression data from tumor samples -- see our FAQ here: https://www.cbioportal.org/faq#is-there-any-normal-rna-seq-data-in-cbioportal

If you want mRNA expression from normal samples, you can get that from the Genomic Data Commons: https://gdc.cancer.gov/about-data/publications/pancanatlas
