Hi,

I'm working on having timeline data displayed in our local portal. However I have a couple questions.

1.- If I go to the clinical data tab for a patient (e.g. http://localhost:8080/cbioportal/patient/clinicalData?studyId=somestudy&caseId=caseid), I see the STYLE_COLOR and STYLE_SHAPE columns. Is it possible to somehow hide these columns on this tab?

2.- I want to use white as a color for events in the timeline. However, with the white background, the event is lost. I see that in genie, the events have a black/greyish outline (like in the screenshot). How do I configure cbioportal to render the events like the genie portal (as in the GENIE BPC NSCLC dataset)? I searched the file format documentation but I didn't see anything regarding a setting for outline.

I tried using the same version that GENIE says it's using (5.1.7)

Thanks.

Hi Carlos,

The appearance of those attributes on the clinical data tab is an oversight on our part.  It's an easy fix we can do this week.

The event color in the timeline is a little trickier.  It's accomplished in Genie with a more advanced level of customization that we haven't solidified for public use yet.

Is it essential for you to use white?
