Hi,

Thanks for reaching out and apologies for the delayed response.

This work is in the prototype stage, so keep expectations low 😊 (occasional downtime, unexpected updates etc). You can give it a shot on https://chat.cbioportal.org. There’s a few different agents deployed (database querying, website navigation, documentation search). The DBAgent has a few example queries listed here

Would be great to hear your thoughts! We will run a more formal user interview process soon if you’re interested.

Hi,

Could you please share how I can connect to my own portal instance or the ClickHouse instance where my studies and data are located?

Additionally, could you provide some guidance on how access restrictions work? Specifically, I would like to understand how user access is controlled so that users can only view information for the studies they are authorized to access.

Also, if possible could you please share the reference codebase location where this logic resides?

Thank you,

Prasanth Yenduri

Hi Prasanth

The clickhouse RFC 100 is going to be released soon by end of March. This provides support for clickhouse in cBioPortal. Subsequently it will be possible to setup your own instance of  cbio chat interface with your custom data. You can free to setup the cBiochat if you like on your own.

thanks
Jag
