cBio Cancer API Python Wrapper

Hi!

I've developed a Python module for the cBioportal to make the data access a bit more seamless and have the return type of the data in a format that is more numpy/pandas friendly.

I've integrated most of the data models but would love to chat with someone about making additional features. Is there a slack group or discord that exists for development?

That looks like a great project! We have two slacks: one for internal development (I sent you an invite) and a public one that anyone can join w/o invite (https://slack.cbioportal.org)

 

For R we have a similar package called cBioPortalData which makes interacting with the API easier by providing a MultiAssayExperiment interface on top of the API. Your slack invite should add you to the channel where development on this package is discussed
