Hello;
I am so excited to see the new tab for structural variants at cbioportal. This is going to be a great feature for all curators, like myself, who utilizes it as an additional information to annotate and make classification.
However, I have noticed that the fusion under the “Event Info” is still listed with an old way, i.e. ELF5-EXT2 Fusion. It should be formatted to the newest version, such as ELF5::EXT2 Fusion. In addition, it would be so helpful if hyperlink could be added under the genes to take us to the gene link.
Thanking in advance for your continuous effort to make the site more helpful for all those who uses it on a daily basis.

Hi Hooi,
Thanks so much for the kind words! Appreciate your help in trying to make the new feature better
We will look into updating the SV format. Filed a ticket here:
https://github.com/cBioPortal/datahub/issues/1987
For the gene link: could you elaborate where you would like it to navigate to? Would it be the mutations tab, e.g.: https://bit.ly/3goj3To. Or are you thinking about another view on cBioPortal or elsewhere?
Thank you!
Ino
