Dear cBioportal colleague,

Hereby I (MD-PhD researcher in the Netherlands) am approaching you with a question.

I am using the open access PBTA-data from PedcBioPortal for one of my studies.

I am integrating these data with data from the literature to create a larger dataset.

However, there might ofcourse be duplicate patients in studies from the literature and the Open PBTA-data.

Would it maybe be possible to see from which center the patients from the open PBTA database originate and the year of inclusion, so that I can identify potential duplicates?

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Best,

Hema

Hi Hema,

Thanks for reaching out.
The OpenPBTA study data in PedcBioPortal matches that of v23 of the study. It's best to contact the authors of the publication for possible identification of patient data sources. You can find the manuscript information in the study description on top of the page.

Best,
