License terms and putative commercial usage of downloading specific gene-sets signatures through the cBioPortal web portal

Hello and kudos to everyone in the cBioPortal Discussion Group ! I want to ask a follow-up question based on one previous post with title "licensing terms and further putative restrictions in downloading and utilizing specific datasets from the cBioPortal web page". 

In particular, as I understood that the  highlighted AGPL license pertains to the cBioPortal source code, not the data (https://github.com/cBioPortal/datahub?tab=readme-ov-file#license): 

I would like to ask, if any specific limitations or restrictions apply to the customized gene-set signatures, available in the web interface of cBioPortal, when querying a specific dataset, under the "Enter Genes" tab? Are these sets available also for download, commercial usage or utilization within customized tools or approaches for supporting academic clients? With of course acknowledging cBioPortal and respective citations?

The gene lists available at the query view can be found here. As these are lists derived from the data which is under ODbL, you are free to use them. 

Please cite cBioPortal and the relevant publications for the data you use, see also this page for more information.
