Constructing stable URLs documentation outdated?

Hi,

I am trying to construct stable urls as described in this link: https://www.cbioportal.org/webAPI in the "Linking To Us" section.

It seems like the cancer_study_id field is no longer respected? For example, the provided example link for gbm_tcga https://www.cbioportal.org/ln?cancer_study_id=gbm_tcga&q=EGFR+NF1 seems to return all studies instead of just the one specified.

Has this field been deprecated? Are there more up-to-date docs I can take a look at?

I was not aware about the link. What you are explaining sounds like a bug. You might want to report it here https://github.com/cBioPortal/cbioportal/issues

Meanwhile, can you use a result page view? e.g. https://www.cbioportal.org/results/mutations?case_set_id=all&gene_list=EGFR%20NF1&cancer_study_list=gbm_tcga
