I am Parteek Goyal ,a MERN stack developer , also I have good knowledge of C,C++, Java . 

I would like be part of your GSOC projects this year , so could you please guide me and assign  me some issue in your repos to be solved

Thanks for reaching out! We will apply again for GSoC but Google will announce only Feb 21^st what organizations are accepted

 

That said, if you are interested in trying to contribute already regardless, I would start with trying to get the backend or frontend running locally (https://docs.cbioportal.org/architecture-overview )
