Clarification on Data Source and Citation for TARGET Datasets Used from cBioPortal

I hope this email finds you well.

I am currently using publicly available datasets from cBioPortal for my research work. Specifically, I am working with the following two datasets:

1. Pediatric Neuroblastoma (TARGET, 2018)
2. Pediatric Wilms' Tumor (TARGET, 2018)

While accessing these datasets through cBioPortal, I was unable to clearly identify the original data source/publication details required for proper citation in my manuscript.

I would be grateful if you could kindly guide me on:

• The correct primary data source for these two datasets, and
• The recommended citation format or reference that should be used when publishing results based on these datasets.

Your guidance will help ensure accurate attribution and compliance with data usage policies.

Please have a look at the following website: GDC - Using TARGET data. There is a section that explains how to cite and links to the GDC portal where you can find the data of the TARGET studies.
