one allele present?

Hello-
I love your cbioportal ! It is extremely useful and easy to use.

I have one question:  when a mutation in a gene is listed, does that imply there is not also a "WT" allele present?  For example, searching for PTEN mutations, and looking in the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia results, I see that PTEN has a nonsense mutation (R233*).  Is there also a non-mutant allele present?
