Hello,
I am Diego, a researcher from Spain. I am writing to ask if it is possible to get tissue image metadata variables from the API. I am using the python API and I would like to select all patients, in which MMRd has been tested by IHC (this variable is called "mismatch_rep_proteins_tested_by_ihc" in the image metadata), for my study. However, I could not manage to do so. If this is possible, could you please let me know how to perform this query?
Moreover, I would also like to know on which experimental technique is based the variable "microsatellite_instability" also present in the image metadata. Is it based in the gold standard PCR with 5 microsatellite regions?
Thank you very much.
Diego.

Hi Diego,

I’m not sure which study you find this data, but if the attribute ‘mismatch_rep_proteins_tested_by_ihc” is available as a clinical attribute of the study, you would be able to use one of the Clinical Data endpoints of the api to fetch the data.  You will have to go back to the publication to determine the experimental technique for microsatellite_instability.

Regards,
Benjamin
