New cBioPortal features: Data Hub, Annotation of driver mutations in OncoPrints, visualization of segmented copy-number via IGV.js, better performance

We are excited to announce that we have updated the cBioPortal for Cancer Genomics (http://cbioportal.org) with new features and improvements.

All curated cBioPortal data sets can now be conveniently downloaded as flat files from the new Data Hub (https://github.com/cBioPortal/datahub).

Other features and improvements includes:

• Annotation of putative driver missense mutations in OncoPrints, based on OncoKB, mutational hotspots, and recurrence in cBioPortal and COSMIC
  
• Copy number segments visualization directly in the browser in a new CN Segments tab via IGV.js
  
• Improved cancer study view page (bug fixes and increased performance)
