A new Canadian Business History Association/L’association Canadienne pour l’histoire des affairs (CBHA/ACHA) is being founded to further business history, especially by Canadians and about Canada, by building a closer relationship among historians, archivists, and the business community.

One of the first initiatives of the organization is the offering of travel grants (CA$500) to Canadians or non-Canadians who are presenting work connected to any aspect of Canadian business history, (broadly defined) to attend academic conferences.
