I have been trying for a while to get my Windows Intel Visual Fortran Compiler to work with C::B. I installed the latest (v.17) which claims compatibility but CB still complains that it can't find 'ifort.exe' even after I go & point it to the directory location...which got me thinking - The directory string for IVF ifort.exe is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\IntelSWTools\compilers_and_libraries_2020.4.311\windows\bin\intel64_ia32

which is the default installation location for IVF...is that a 'legal' string that C::B can understand? Could that be the reason C::B can't see/use IVF?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,
in my case I set path to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IntelSWTools\compilers_and_libraries\windows\bin\intel64
However I do not use the latest version of ifort.
Another problem is environment variables. I recommend reading "How to setup Intel Fortran compiler on Windows" on "https://cbfortran.sourceforge.io/info/"  if you haven't done it yet.

If you still have problems, take a few screenshots with the C::B. It can help to understand where the problem is.
