Message from the President
Shalom, Chaverim!  We have kicked off our summer in style and are just getting warmed up for July and August. Join us at our Shabbat Potluck this Friday night and our July Pool Party this Sunday!  And if you can’t make it to the Mediterranean this Summer, then we are bringing it to you at our July Meet & Greet at Baklava in Palo Alto.

Ever wonder how we manage to put together so many amazing events?  Find the answer at our Volunteer Meeting tomorrow night in Mountain View.  This is an important meeting as we are formalizing our board structure and filling officer positions.  All help is greatly appreciated! We know you have great ideas, and we love hearing from you.  Jews’ Next Dor is a strictly volunteer-led group.

And another way we show love to our many volunteers and regular attendees is our Annual Superlative Awards.  Which JNDer is the most ticklish?  Who gives the best advice?  Vote now!

Don’t forget to Sign Up for Team Jews’ Next Dor as we once again join in AIDS WALK SF.  It’s a pleasant day for a good cause.

Please also note that the evening of July 19 marks Tisha B’Av, which commemorates the destruction of both Temples, the Expulsion of the Jews from Spain, and many other tragedies of Jewish history.  Congregation Beth David will be holding a poignant service at 8:30pm.

Finally, don’t forget to keep an eye on our Save The Date section!  You can help us decide what to do next by emailing us at jewsnextdor[at]beth-david.org or by joining our Facebook Group.

B’shalom!

Sari Wisch, President, Jews' Next Dor, Congregation Beth David's Young Adult Group

Visit our Calendar of Events or FACEBOOK group for up-to-date event information. You can also subscribe to the Jews’ Next Dor Google calendar. To RSVP or plan a Jews’ Next Dor event contact us at jewsnextdor[at]beth-david.org

VOTE NOW!
Online at
http://bit.ly/c2Erdy

Please take a moment to vote for your JND friends, a male and female in each category. These fun awards will be presented at our annual Hanging in the Hut event the last week of September, when we also recognize our volunteers.  Voting is anonymous (and hilarious!) and will be open until August 12. If any of the categories don't have a clear winner we'll hold a run off vote in late August.
