[cbdbug] Jane Prentice to jump ship

Clr Prentice is to try for preselection for Ryan for the LNP, now that they
have disposed of the inconveniently active Michael Johnson (who couldn't
possibly have been a 'true' conservative??). If she gets the gig she'll win
the seat easily, as demonstrated by 2007's results.

She should be out of Council in good time for the failure of the bike-hire
scheme and for whatever consequences the Sherwood bus depot might have for
her would-be constituents. Her failure to ensure adequate active transport
corridors around the bus depot will have some consequences, some of which
would not hurt Clr Johnson's prospects for re-election, this time as an
independent.

But there will be many other candidates for preselection as the seat is so
safe. Is Jane in the correct faction?
