I understand that for a couple of weeks (?) there will be a bunch of
trailers, caravans and wandering and probably self-obsessed (preoccupied?)
actors and technicians on the bikeway near the old Miramar jetty, no longer
used. Has anyone any experience of congestion caused by this intrusion?

I recall there was a film shoot in the same area a few years back. Lots of trailers, people and cars setting up in the former carpark (now bikeway) adjacent to Queen's Wharf Road every night as I rode through on my evening commute.

Never the slightest bit of trouble.

Yes, in the afternoon around 5:00pm when everyone is generally leaving work. For a couple of weeks, it could be tolerated. What was a little annoying is that cyclists had to go up on the footpath at one point, but to get off again you had to get off your bike or jump the gutter which wasn't safe under the circumstances.

Whilst on the subject, on Wednesday market days there is a red car which is consistently parking as close as possible to the market end and thus is parking right under the bridge and partially obstructing the walkway/cycleway. Spare parking is available at the other (Parliament House) end.
