Last (wet) Sunday, riding slowly down to Radnor St, Indro, near WT Bridge, a
bunch of charity riders, shouting 'be careful, etc' one rider came down,
bringing a couple more with him. He broke his right collarbone. The
contributing factor was the newly painted black square, ready for a yellow
BAZ sign, right on the apex of the corner. I recall these black squares on
the Corso, and their slippery nature when first applied.

Ironic that a safety oriented action made the corner dangerous when wet. Is
there any evidence that these painted squares become less slippery with age
or after the yellow BAZ is over-painted?

Cheers,
John
