Hello,

Tomorrow there is a forum on "South East Queensland's Transport System in the Peak Oil and Climate Change Era".

It is organised by The Society for Sustainability and Environmental Engineering and Engineers Australia

Speakers run from 4 to 6:30 with a 20 minute open forum following.

It is at the Irish Club 175 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane City.

The keynote speaker is Professor Peter Newman, who co-wrote the important book Cities and Automobile Dependence.

There are also speakers from Assoc for Study of Peak Oil, BCC, State Government and myself at the end disucssing 'Alternative transport'.

Refer attached for details on the topics and how you can book a place (I'm sure there would still be places left).

Might see you there

Tristan
