this project is 1542 - General Contractors - Nonresidential, Other
than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17
million. The work includes providing all labor, equipment and
material to remove various walls, doors, frames, shelves, floor
tile, bathroom accessories, mechanical items, lighting, electreical
items, patching various items; providing new walls, doors,
ceilings, painting,carpet, floor tiles, air conditioning,
electrical raceway, lighting and incidental related work. Requests
for plans and specifications may be mailed to the above address or
request may be sent via fax by using Fax # (202) 433-0939.
Contractors within the local area are urged to pick-up a copy of
the solicitation at Building 212, first floor, plans & specs room,
at the Washington Navy Yard. The hours of operation for Plans &
Specs are 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. There will be no
charge for these documents, however, there will only be one set
issued per contractor. Requests for plans & specs and bidders lists
should be made separately. Please note that plans & specs will be
issued on a first come, first serve basis. The date for issuance of
plans and specs is 14 December 1995. The date for bid opening is 18
January 1996. The estimated cost of construction for this project
