services to repair/overlay Higgens Road, East Range, Schofield
Barracks, Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Repair, widen and resurface
approximately one mile length of roadway. Work includes earthwork,
asphaltic concrete pavement, pavement repair work, pavement
markings, relocation, of two concrete drain inlets, relocation of
one fire hydrant, concrete hydrant guard, grassing, adjusting
structures and manholes to finish grades, provide guy wires and
street lights on existing utility poles, cleanup and disposal, and
miscellaneous related work, complete and ready for use. Completion
time is 150 days after notice to proceed. This procurement is
unrestricted. SIC 1611, Highway and Street Construction, except
elevated highways. Estimated cost of the proposed construction is
between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Issue date is on or about July 25,
1996. Telephone requests will not be honored. Solicitation/drawing
charge is $23.00 per set. Additional drawings may be ordered at
$10.00 each. Payment by check or money order shall be made payable
to DFAS, HONOLULU, OPLOC. Checks and money orders must be sent to
the Directorate of Contracting, ATTN: APVG-GKC, Fort Shafter,
Hawaii 96858-5025. Remittance is not refundable. This is a new
