Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In response to the Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey in Houston area, CBCSD will be donating $5000 (USD) to the "SEND Relief"
of "North American Mission Board" (an arm of the Southern Baptist
Convention, see below).
Church members are encouraged to donate online or by checks through the following organizations:
1.
The North American Mission Board, an arm of the Southern Baptist
Convention, promises donors that 100% of the donations they receive would go
directly to disaster relief efforts through their SEND Relief division:
Give online. Or write a check to "NAMB"
2. World Vision:
Give online. Or write a check to "World Vision"
3. American Red Cross:
Give online. Or write a check to "American Red Cross"
Online
donation is preferred. If you decide to donate by check, please DO NOT make it payable to CBCSD, but please make it payable to the charity directly. CBCSD will not
collect cash donation. CBCSD will send the checks for the charities directly to them by mail.
