Meeting At Lloyd Park 5:30pm

Hi All

Thanks for confirming your availability for the meeting. As tomorrow the weather is nice we can all meet at Lloyd park. As suggested by few of us there is a slight change in the time we are now meeting at 5:30 pm instead of 4:00pm.

Here are the minutes of today's meeting.

1. Mahalaya Program 

Date - Sat. 5th Oct. 2013

Time - 6 to 10pm

Venue - TBD

Cultural Programs

Dinner

2. Venue options :

Selsdon Library

Oswal Hall

- Old Palace was not considered because it was thought that we may not be able to fill up the auditorium

- Church in Shirley was not considered because of the 'Sound Meter'.

3. Approx. 20 Families have confirmed attendance

4. Email to be sent out to wider group for participation. The body of the email should contain the following:

a. Introduction

b. Invitation for the event  - Date and time of the event, Venue - TBD

c. Cultural participation required for :

- Fancy Dress [ Boys and Girls Ages 4 to 16 Yrs ]

- Bengali Song [ Boys and Girls Age 5 to 8 Yrs ]

- Group Dance [ Girls Age 5 to 8 Yrs ] 

- Group Dance [ Girls Age 9 to 12 Yrs ]

- Bengali Rhymes (Choda) [ Boys Age 4 to 8 Yrs ]

d. Interested participants to reply by 31st Jul, 2013 through email only

5. Email draft to be prepared by Prantik and Arun. It will be sent to the wider group by 22 Jul 2013.

6. Dinner arrangements during the venue - TBD

7. Participation guidelines to be sent out to interested participants in a follow-up email (only to the participants). Follow-up email to cover :

a. All rehearsals will be within Croydon

b. All the Rehearsals are compulsory for all participants

c. parents are requested to drop and pick-up the kids to the rehearsal venue

b. participants have to bear the cost of the costumes arranged by CBC

8 . All communication to participants for arranging cultural programmes (i.e. rehearsals, etc.),  to be sent out from eve...@cbc-london.org. No personal email ids will be used. The access details for this email account will be shared with the cultural team (Baishakhi, Ishita, Sarada, Sayantanee, Soma)

Please let us know if we have missed out anything or if something has been captured incorrectly.
