Securing the doors on ducts of Skywalk area - T3

Dear Apex Committee,

There is an urgent need to secure the doors of the duct areas in T3 on the Skywalk. 

During my evening walk there, I noticed some kids playing hide and seek and they were using the duct area as a hiding place. It came to my notice as three boys were stuck inside one of the duct area as the broken lock outside had got jammed in the latch. Sure, there were others also passing by and if it had not been me, some other resident would have noticed and helped. 

But if this happened at a time when there was no elder person around, then it can be very dangerous.

Please see the attached photos. Looks like all the doors to the duct areas in T3 dont have secure locks on them. 

Further, there was no security guard when I tried to search for one - this would be around 8.15 to 8.30 pm.

Please acknowledge receipt of this email and take immediate remedial action. I would also appreciate a response once the action is taken.

Greetings of the day!

With reference to the trail mail, we have inspected the shaft area on the 21st Floor Sky Street. The security team has been instructed to ensure that no unauthorized person is allowed to enter the shaft or duct areas.

Further, the carpenter team has been assigned to repair and rectify the damaged shaft door on a priority basis to ensure safety and proper access control.

Please take this as our status update.
