The 6th Annual Walk for Autism Awareness will be held on Saturday, April 7th (that's the day before Easter), at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi. Check-in starts at 11am, with the Proclamation being read at 12:00 Noon and immediately after that the Walk begins. We'll follow the same route as last year.

This is our one main fund raiser for the year as well. We have a new T-shirts, which we give away for every $50.00 in donations our walkers collect and turn in (while supplies last). We also have a limited supply of T's from past Walks that can be purchased at the Walk for $10.00 each.

Proceeds from the Walk go back into our community in the form of stipends for parents and students to attend the State Autism Conference (in Austin this year), travel and accommodation stipends are also offered, and other educational opportunities for parents and students as well as continuing education credits for professionals working within our community.

"Promoting awareness, employment, independent living and health care through education" is the mission of Coastal Bend Autism Advocacy. Help us to continue our work within our community by joining the Walk this year. Show your support for all those living with ASD in our community, within the Coastal Bend.
