A News Gazette reporter reached out asking for a comment from the PTA about the potential of a teacher strike and an extended school day. Because anything such as this would need to be crafted and agreed upon by the majority of PTA members we have let him know that we aren't able to comment at this time. He kindly asked if we could connect him with parents who might be willing to comment. His contact information is below of you feel inclined to speak about things. He has an afternoon deadline, so anyone interested should reach out as soon as possible tomorrow.
Note: Should it come up, please remind Mr. Simmons that you're speaking as an individual parent at the school and not on behalf of Carrie Busey PTA.
