Hi all --

 

We have oil heat so I don't think our kWh usage would compare to others, but for what it's worth, we used 1124 kWh for 1 Dec 08 - 2 Jan 09, compared to 1,304 last year for the same time period.  On top of this, we have SMO budget billing at $356 a month to keep us at a nice toasty 72 degrees.

Ours was exceptionally high also for last month. 68 Degrees  24/7 on both thermostats and we are very conscious of our usage. I remember years ago they would include an average outside temperature for the month on the bill just to help you gauge if there was something out of alignment.

wow.  that's really high.  I just checked ours and we used 3958 kwh this bill.  The previous one was 2617.  I think thermostat is at 67 at night and goes up during waking hours.  You must be leaving door open!!!
