Today’s the day that the Manlius Dance workshops begin!!

Please join us to enjoy the company familiar dance friends and meet some new friends while learning East Coast Swing from Terry Perrone at the new Manlius venue ( see below). 

Doors open at 7:00 , lesson starts at 7:30.  Arrive early to sign up for the series of 4 or pay as you go.

Hello Everyone, 

The Tuesday Caz workshops are being reincarnated in Manilus! Karen Kingsley, with the help of Mike Zipprich, and Joyce Backus, are putting together a great selection of workshops. The format will be a little different, mainly because the town of Manilus is requiring the changes, but it should bring even more people to the workshops since there will be more advertising. So if you want to renew what you know about East Coast Swing, learn some new things, and have some fun come on out! Terry Perrone is teaching, a great instructor, and has never taught a Tuesday workshop yet. Terry used to teach at Arthur Murray before going out on his own. Terry also teaches private lessons and group lesson on other nights of the week. So if you a beginner, or a seasoned dancer, you will enjoy what these workshops have to offer. Register before April 3 to get the best price! (you can do this online with the link below)..... and to let them know you will be there. At some point, once this gets going full speed, they may have to limit attendance to those who register. Manilus has a lot more people to draw to dance workshops.

DaNce           WorKshops

 

LEARN HOW:  Join us for a series of dance lessons for anyone interested in social dancing, ages 18 years and up. We will focus on one particular dance for the 4 week session.  Workshop lessons are about an hour long and will be taught by qualified instructors. There will be an intermediate move taught at the end of each lesson. After the lesson there is a practice period of about an hour for everyone to practice what they’ve learned. It is not necessary to bring a partner.

              WHEN:                       Tuesday Nights   April 9 through April 30

 

            WHERE:                       Manlius Village Hall    -Auditorium

                                                One Arkie Albanese Avenue, Manlius, New York 13104

 

              TIME:       Lessons start promptly at   7:30pm – 8:30 practice till 9:30 pm

                                    (you should arrive a little early if you need to sign in or register)

 

              COST:              Village Residents:                      $28.00 for a 4 week series

                                   Non-Village Residents:       $32.00 for a 4 week series

                               Drop-in Fee:                               $8.00 for Village Residents

                                                                                  $10.00 for Non-Village Residents.

 

SIGN UP:         Registration Forms are available at the Manlius Village Website: 

 https://www.manliusvillage.org/167/Dance-Workshops, print the form, fill it out and mail it in with your payment to the Village of Manlius, before April 3^rd

OR

You can register and pay for the series at the door on the first night of the series.

OR

STOP IN:  You can walk-in for a lesson and sign in and pay the drop-in fee at the start of the lesson.

(the lessons will be progressive, so if you are new to dance we recommend that you drop-in for the first lesson of the series and not the last)

 

BRING:  -Clean dry shoes to dance in. Leather or suede soles are best so that your feet can glide across the floor        

-Something to drink to stay hydrated. It might get hot.
