Manlius Workshops reminder for 7:30 tonight

This is a reminder that the Manlius Dance Workshops continue tonight at 7:30. This second of a series of four workshops with Terry Perrone on East Coast swing. 

Please join us to enjoy the company familiar dance friends and meet some new friends while brushing up on your East Coast Swing at the new Manlius venue ( see below). 

Doors open at 7:00 , lesson starts at 7:30.  Arrive early to warm up and/ or pay as you go.

DaNce           WorKshops

 

LEARN HOW:  Join us for a series of dance lessons for anyone interested in social dancing, ages 18 years and up. We will focus on one particular dance for the 4 week session.  Workshop lessons are about an hour long and will be taught by qualified instructors. There will be an intermediate move taught at the end of each lesson. After the lesson there is a practice period of about an hour for everyone to practice what they’ve learned. It is not necessary to bring a partner.

THE LESSON WILL BE IN:                      EAST COAST SWING                               

 

              WHEN:                       Tuesday Nights   April 9 through April 30

 

            WHERE:                       Manlius Village Hall    -Auditorium

                                                One Arkie Albanese Avenue, Manlius, New York 13104

 

              TIME:       Lessons start promptly at   7:30pm – 8:30 practice till 9:30 pm

                                    (you should arrive a little early if you need to sign in or register)

 

              COST:              Village Residents:                      $28.00 for a 4 week series

                                   Non-Village Residents:       $32.00 for a 4 week series

                               Drop-in Fee:                               $8.00 for Village Residents

                                                                                  $10.00 for Non-Village Residents.

 

SIGN UP:         Registration Forms are available at the Manlius Village Website: 

 https://www.manliusvillage.org/167/Dance-Workshops, print the form, fill it out and mail it in with your payment to the Village of Manlius, before April 3^rd

OR

You can register and pay for the series at the door on the first night of the series.

OR

STOP IN:  You can walk-in for a lesson and sign in and pay the drop-in fee at the start of the lesson.

(the lessons will be progressive, so if you are new to dance we recommend that you drop-in for the first lesson of the series and not the last)

 

BRING:  -Clean dry shoes to dance in. Leather or suede soles are best so that your feet can glide across the floor        

-Something to drink to stay hydrated. It might get hot.
