Club Trip October 6-9

If anyone else would like to join us, please let me know.

I also would like to know if any of you would like to go earlier or stay longer.

I'm renting 2 houses for us and one of them can be rented longer. I have not yet secured these houses, but I will need to do so soon. Please let me know ASAP.

Just also want to let you know that if you would like to join us on this trip you will need to get yourself to Dewey Beach and be able to carry the windsurfing gear.

Others may be able to take you and the gear you need, but that needs to be worked out.

If anyone who is going has the ability to take a person and additional gear, please respond to this so there can be some carpooling.

Since I combine this trip with a visit to my mother before and/or after I cannot bring anyone else with me. I could bring some masts and sails though.

I can take a few people and gear. The truck seats 5, but realistically two of those seats can only be occupied by a small child.  

I expect with enough padding I can safely transport 3 boards and all the associated masts and sails.

, I have Wednesday through Sunday off and would like to go down Thursday. Does anyone have any interest in going earlier in the week than the current Friday? 

Sharon is currently waiting to hear from the rental company . But if someone else wanted to earlier I’m certain we could find a hotel if the rental doesn’t make sense for 1 extra day for a few people.

I’m game for Thursday as well. We can rent one house for Thursday through Monday and the other Friday through Thursday.

I haven’t heard back from the rental agent yet on the price but I hope to be finding out soon and will be back with more details.

We have a clinic on Sunday, so hopefully we can discuss the trip more then and I’ll know how many beds we’ll have if anyone else wants to join us. There could be couch space if we fill all the beds.

I'm not sure I can make Thursday work, so just count me in for arriving Friday.

I currently have my own 6 and 7 m sails, but depending on the wind a smaller rig might be good. If anyone would be willing to bring one from and return it to  Ithaca for me I would be super grateful + can buy you dinner or something (I'll be coming from Massachusetts so I can't get club gear myself).

The costs for the club trip will be $250 for active keyholders who have opened the shed or were instructors for the clinics and $300 for any other members. 

You may bring a non-windsurfing partner but they must pay $300.

I'm going to book the condos which are on the ocean block we stayed on last year and will be paying this week.

If you want to arrive a day earlier, I'm going to rent one of the houses starting Thursday night, so add $50 if you want to arrive on Thursday (please let me know if you are adding that)

You will need to be able to provide your own transportation or find someone to carpool with as well as transport gear or arrange for someone else to bring it if you cannot.

We should be able to easily bring down smaller sails+masts if the forecast calls for it, assuming there are extras not spoken for by others, but remind us closer to the date :-)

What's the plan for the 9th (Monday) in terms of our rental?

Will that be a sailing day (we stay in Dewey Beach that night and drive back on the 10th) or a travel day?
