Dear Cornell Club Windsurfers:       You no longer need to know someone or be connected to someone to know where the good launches are.  Presenting WindsurfResource.com, an ad free website that provides free, independent and unbiased information to the windsurfer.            WindsurfResource.com uses today’s technology (the Internet) to address the problems of today (dwindling access).  Best of all, all of this information is free, with no ads and with no strings attached.  Use WindsurfResource.com to find launches in the Western Finger Lakes region of NYS, the Hudson valley of NYS, the NYC area, as well as Eastern PA, New Jersey, the Delmarva Peninsula, the Tidewater of VA (Windvisions.com), the Hatteras region of NC (Windvisions.com), in addition to the Chesapeake near Baltimore and Annapolis (aka BABA territory), mid Virginia, and the Washington DC region.          WindsurfResource.com also uses a compass rose to allow you to screen launches for a particular wind direction.  Just click on one of the directional arms of the compass rose, and only launches what work well for the selected wind direction are displayed!      Help reduce attrition in windsurfing.  If you like and agree to the contents of WindsurfResource.com, please inform your windsurfing buddies and any newbies you may encounter of this website.  Also inform them of the Beginner's Corner Page, the Glossary, the Genres Page etc to help them along in the sport.  Doing so may inspire fellow windsurfers to stay with and progress in the sport and draw more people into windsurfing.     As a last word, the future effectiveness of this website largely depends on feedback from you, such as providing me with information on new launch sites, rules and restrictions pertaining to a launch, or other pertinent information that would make a nice addition to WindsurfResource.com.
