Currently, Zoom is the preferred medium of enterprises to conduct virtual meetings, video conferences, and webinars. Since the company offers variable and nominal pricing plans, small businesses have been interested in leveraging Zoom for official purposes. Paid members can also benefit from VoIP connectivity, ensuring seamless communication among colleagues.
While most companies consider one of the paid subscription plans, Zoom Meetings offers some useful features with the free account. For instance, you can access Zoom Rooms to host virtual meetings with up to 100 people. The participants are visible on-screen in a grid-style display. Unfortunately, free users get only limited time for the meetings or conferences. Having said that, there are no time restrictions on one-on-one video calls.
For a long time, Skype for Business has been a reliable platform for video conferencing, direct messaging, and virtual meetings. Unfortunately, the program experiences a lot of connectivity issues, which disrupt the overall experience.
Zoom works almost anywhere on any device, as long as you have an internet connection. You can join a meeting from your home office, at the airport, or on the road, and easily get down to business and collaboration with screen sharing, chat, and annotation tools.
Sharing your screen on Zoom is quick and seamless, and you can customize what you share with other participants. Our intuitive platform lets you choose whether you want to share your desktop, select applications, a portion of your screen, a whiteboard, device audio, or content from a second camera. You can also manage who else can share during a meeting.
Reactions, Immersive View, and annotation improve participant engagement, while virtual backgrounds and filters let you insert fun and personality into meetings. You can use Breakout Rooms for small-group discussions, with the ability to assign rooms at random, pre-assign participants to specific rooms, or let participants choose their own to join.
We keep your video and audio meetings secure with 256-bit AES GCM encryption and an end-to-end encryption option. Security features help you control who joins, manage participants, and safeguard information in every meeting. Learn more about security at Zoom.
Customers who switch to Zoom report an increase in video usage. Features like chat and reactions promote interactivity and real-time communication, while filters and virtual backgrounds keep meetings fun.
