Ways to Get Involved

Facebook Group

University Alumni Affinity Groups/Detroit Centers
Both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University are developing Asian alumni affinity groups, please let me know if you went to a different college or university (especially in Michigan) which is doing the same. Please contact me at mole...@umich.edu (reply, not reply all) if interested in volunteering for the University of Michigan Asian/Asian American and Pacific Islander Alumni Club. Michigan State University has an Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Spartans alumni group, I recommend contacting their board if interested in working with them. Both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University have Detroit Centers which are very close to Detroit's historic Chinatown, have event spaces which can be rented, and may be good venues to consider having various Asian community events in the neighborhood. Below are their websites and addresses:

3663 Woodward Ave #150, Detroit, MI 48201

3408 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48201
