Dear NCRC supporter,

DJ and the NCRC SouthCentral team have been moving mountains to offer NCRC this coming January. The rigorous week-long training keeps us safe and caves out of the news, except for the good stuff like rare fossils at Natural Bridge or the measurable health benefits of caving with Carrey Bull.

Ken Demarest administered many aspects of the scholarship for years, but he is ready to partially pass the mantle.

The Texas Speleological Association is stepping up to make sure we can continue to send deserving individuals with financial needs to the best rescue training this side of the Pecos.

With new cohorts filling up our ranks, grottos strive to impart basic rescue training, but nothing can replace the opportunity to train continuously for a week and get to know your local rescue personnel.
