The NSS Vertical Training Commission is offering a Level 1 vertical training course in Boerne, TX June 5-7 at the campground of Cave Without a Name.
This is a structured course intended to teach the basics of vertical caving - the ropes, equipment, and techniques to safely access vertical caves. It is also beneficial for someone with prior vertical training experience who wishes to improve their skills in the area of mid-rope obstacles, deviations, and rebelays.
Lessons will take place Friday and Saturday at Cave Without a Name, with Sunday reserved for a vertical cave trip to demonstrate the skills learned the prior days.

The cost is $95 for NSS members, $145 for non-members. Note that the cost of NSS membership is less than the difference in course costs.
