Registration for Spring Convention 2026 in Boerne is open

Hi all,

It seems the facebook algorithm is burying our posts about registration so I'm making an announcement here too.

Registration for Spring Convention at CWAN from April 17 to 19th is open. You can find the link here. Entry is only $22, food included and people can tent camp or trailer camp. Dogs allowed.

Speakers wil include:

George Veni on Biological Surveys and Management of Endangered Species at Robber Baron Cave.

Marvin Miller who will give us an update on the exploration of Dinosaur Cave.

Peter Sprouse who will talk about the significant archaeological finds made a Cueva Sin Fin

Joe Mitchell who will present on a new survey technique for small caves that mostly relies on a phone.

Scott Bauer on his advocacy and photography on behalf of the San Marcos springs threatened by the planned data centers.

We will host Mike Mansur who will be leading a workshop on speleothem repairs. 

Not to forget a dry visit to Spring Creek Cave and a dig at Cricket Cave that might lead us to a connection with CWAN itself. It's a muddy but roomy dig with a lot of enticing geology.
