Hello

In the hardware list of the site, the reference 2738 is mentioned for the Pololu Gyro, Accelerometer and Compass. This is the reference used for the Rev2, but for the Rev4 it is different. Many choices are possible but the reference 2737 seems to me the closest without using all the pins

Can you advise me? Thank you

Bonjour,

Pouvez-vous me conseiller . Merci

Hello

Reference 2738 is the correct one. OK.

I mistakenly ordered the C2 PCB. then the C4 PCB which is the evolution of the C2. On the C4, the pins are rotated by 90° and this happens on the RM3100 magnetometer or its holder. On the C2, no worries. A picture or explanation of the C4 would help me.

Thank you

Bonjour,

La référence 2738 est la bonne. Ok.

Merci

Good evening

Looking at the methods of assembly, there are two photos that challenge me. A first where the C4 PCB is clearly indicated on page 5 and then on page 10, it is again the C2 that is in the photo.

The two assemblies are different (a horizontal C2 and a vertical C4) yet I was advised to take the Pololu 2038 while the 2736 seems to me more related to the locations of the C4.

The reasoning may be simple, but the PCB is well designed.

Thank you for giving me your advice.

Bonsoir,

Small error, it should read 2738 and not 2038

I'm just getting caught up here on old forum posts since I've been away. I'm afraid I must have uploaded the wrong version of the Bill of Materials document which did not include some important information about the IMU. The Rev C.2 and Rev C.3 PCB can use the Pololu #2738 MinIMU but the C.4 version does not use it at all and trying to use it will not work. Instead the C.4 PCB uses the LSM6DS33 (Pololu #2736) since its a little less expensive and the magnetometer on the MinIMU is not needed with the RM3100. So, if you have already ordered it, your choices are to get a C.3 PCB or order the Pololu #2736.

Sorry for the confusion - I guess I didn't explain it clearly enough in the announcement about the new board revisions. I'll get the correct version of the Bill of Materials uploaded shortly.
