S2 LiDAR does not work through the acrylic dome

Hi,  we mounted a second unit of caveatron, this is the RPLIDAR S2  with acrylic dome. 

We bought a acrilic dome in amazon.es  (https://www.amazon.es/dp/B07KGFTHL3 ) that is the same description of the  bill of materials rev C but don't work with the Lidar S2 (screen1). 

 Then we are testing a dome buy in amazon.com that is the link of bill of materials (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KGFTHL3) and have the same problem.   I read in the forum that more people have similar problems (screen2).

If I tested the lidar without dome, it works properly.

Could someone recommendme a link for buy a dome  that  works properly at wavelength of lidar.

If I were you u would send this RPLIDAR for RMA replacement. I have heard of some of them crippled range from factory. Most likely fabric defect.

I have bought exactly this dome 3pc ,  because after half year using it got some scratches and i have replaced it, also have one brand new in reserve :

I'm not sure what to say about this. I used that dome with an S2 to scan a cave 3 weeks ago and did not have any issues. The effect looks like its reflecting off of the inside of the dome. Maybe they changed the formulation of the acrylic or applied a different coating that's more reflective to IR light?

Usually I use the version of the cover without the dome and I don't have any problems with dirt or mud getting in, but if I'm going to scan a very wet or water cave, I use the dome.
