Good evening or hello depending on the time zone.

The Rev C seems okay but:

1.               I don't know how to turn on the Laser (LRF) It stays desperately off. This will allow me to see how it works.

2.               The outdoor general operation button is always off, no power colors or charging. Nothing. Yet it works well to cut the whole.

3.               The power supply seems to be charging well but the LED remains green during maximum charging. Even in the event of a power cut, it remains green and then goes out. It's normal....

4.                It is noted that the circuit voltage is ???? by touching the dedicated contacts on the REV C4 card. In this case, I can't fine-tune the setting on the device. Am I wrong?

Thank you.

Bonsoir ou bonjour suivant le fuseau horaire.

Le Rev C semble correct mais :

Je me trompe ?

Merci.

I'm sorry to take so long to respond. I'm not sure I fully understand all the questions but will answer as best as I can.

1. Please check that you have the right type of LRF set in the setup program. Your LRF could be either ASCII or HEX.Also double check the RX and TX wiring are correct. If this does not work, try just connecting the LRF to a computer with a serial to USB adapter (it might have come with one) and be sure it works on its own.

2. Does the button turn on the Caveatron screen? The button does not have a color when the Caveatron is on. If it does not light up when charging it might be mis-wired or you accidentally got the button with a common ground instead of a common positive. There is one positive voltage connection and the red and green go to the charging board.

3. The button color ring has the following colors:
Red = plugged in and charging
Green = plugged in and completely charged
Yellow = plugged in and maybe a charging error. Something this happens when completely charged but it is ok
When not plugged in the color ring is always off whether the Caveatron is turned on or not
If something else is happening, then check your wiring.

4. If the battery is connected and the Caveatron is powered on, you should have a voltage at those contacts. Another way is to probe the battery pins directly where it connects to the board or the battery input to the charger module. Any of those locations have the same voltage which you can use to calibrate. Its probably pretty close so even if you don't calibration it won't make a big difference.
