Rudder pins

Hi everyone,

I am the new owner of a lovely Cav 28 here in Brisbane waters.

I was just wondering where i can get new pins (pintles) for my transom hung rudder.

Hi Daniel. We replaced ours about 10 years ago but I don't think the original ones are still available from that supplier if at all. I seem to recall a similar query in the past. Let me see what I can find out. John

I contacted the person who was looking but he was unable to find any himself though he didn't look exhaustively. He concluded the best approach was to have S/S ones machined for him but hasn't done so yet.
