Cannot Install CAVA

Hi,

I’m trying to install CAVA on my linux (Centos) system and get the following error:

urllib2.HTTPError: HTTP Error 403: SSL is required

I have no idea how to resolve this and I do NOT have root privilege on the system.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Victor,

Thank you very much for reporting this problem to us!

It was caused by an update in the Python Package Index (PyPI) in October

that has broken the installation script of CAVA v1.2.2.

We have now fixed the issue and are releasing an update, CAVA v1.2.3 that should install correctly.
