Runtime Package Error running Cava compiled Tk gui app

Doesn't look like much reader action here but I figured I'd post this
anyway.
Trying to compile a Perl (ActiveState) 5.8.8 Tk gui application with
Cava ver. 1.3.31.696. It compiles without error but when I click the
Cava button to run the app it returns immediately with the following
popup error:
Runtime Package Error:
_TK_EXIT_(0)
No other information to go on. Not sure why it won't run. Anyone have
this issue before and know how to solve/debug it? Thanks for any help.
