Hi folks.

For this question I searched in the forum and seems there will might
be a feature in coming cava release which will enable cross-host build
without resetting scripts path (a huge maintenance effort for my
software). Before that if I want to have that capability looks the
only choice is to change the localnode id in cava project file on the
fly and replace all the localnode id with the current one.

The question is how to calculate the UUID before replacing it (create
a empty project is ok, but that's a bit overkill). Could you advise if
that's possible and how to achieve that.

Regards

Ripley

Hi Ripley,
It seems nobody is helpling this post. Did you have any luck to get this problem resolved on your own?

I have same issue as you when I try to automate the cava packager build. The absolute path was fixed but cava packager still complain it can't find the script. I believe it is caused by the localnode. It seems to me the localnode is bond to hostname.
