Encountering problems with games is pretty normal, especially if they are high-powered action role-playing games like Fallout 4. I remember how once, while playing Fallout 4 on my PC, the game suddenly stopped, and it remained stuck on the loading screen for a long time. If you are also facing this problem where your Fallout 4 stuck on loading screen and are looking for the possible causes and fixes, this guide has you covered.
Some potential causes of Fallout 4 getting stuck on the loading screen include the wrong graphics card driver, a system glitch, a corrupted game file, an overheated system, network connectivity problems, and memory issues.
This is the easiest and simplest fix you can try to fix the problem when your Fallout 4 gets stuck on the loading screen. Usually, some internal system problems in the game can get it stuck on the screen, and a quick restart can get it working again.
Sometimes the game file you are using to play Fallout 4 can get corrupted, which eventually causes it to get stuck on the system screen. There is no way for you to fix this issue but to uninstall the game and reinstall it on your device. This time, ensure to install it from a secure and verified platform.
Although cloud sync comes with many benefits and advantages, they are useless if you always face the problem of Fallout 4 stuck on the loading screen. You can save yourself from this loading bug simply by going to the cloud settings of Fallout 4 and disabling cloud sync there.
Now you know all about the Fallout 4 stuck-on loading screen error! In this guide, I have explained all the possible reasons for Fallout 4 getting stuck on loading screen and provided you with some fixes you can try.

With the Corona-19 virus curbing my outdoor activities I decided to have another go at playing Fallout: New Vegas on PC. For this play through I bought the game anew from GOG.com. GOG has done an excellent job of fixing most of the bugs, crashes and other problems that continue to plague the version of the game available from Steam. One intermittent problem that remains, however, is an an infinite loading screen. When this happens the actual game will not launch and game play cannot continue. Very annoying.
For me, the issue began after applying a new design to one of my in-game vehicles. After applying the design, the game took an abnormally long time to save and my game ultimately crashed. When I tried to restart the game I became stuck at the initial loading screen (after you press A to start playing).
Before this fix, some mod (found out it was the institute mod) modified the slide animation and only the main menu screen would show up when loading. This mod reverts the loading screen slide animation back to the original vanilla one in case some other mod messed with it and broke the slides.

Summarize your bug Main screen works normally but when I try to enter ANY game mode, the loading screen will come up and never go away. Just to reiterate, this happens in: Pirelli Hot Laps, Time Trial, Career Mode, MyTeam, Generic Races. Seemed to work ONCE in Monza time trial with a supercar, but literally nothing else has worked. Left the game for over an hour on the loading screen just to make sure i'm not impatient and it still didn't load! - I have marked "MyTeam" below, but it happens in * ALL THE GAME MODES!!!!! *
Which area is the bug/glitch in? My Team
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and load up any game mode in any car type at any race track.
What happens when the bug occurs? The loading screen comes up and doesn't ever load into the game. To close the game, I have to use task manager or force stop in steam.
What do you expect to see? The game to load in so I can actually play the game.
I bought the game today, so it is nothing to do with file integrity (but I tried that anyways). Not going to lie, feel pretty annoyed by this. I've bought every F1 game since 2017 (on PC and xbox) and while there are occasionally bugs in the games, nothing that literally stops you from playing the game. I have spent 50 to buy this and yet I can't even play. I am so confused at this and hope it can be resolved VERY soon as I was really looking forward to playing this.

Summarize your bug When loading into career mode round 2 will never start and I will be stuck in a loading screen forever. The only way to get out of it is to force close the game on steam. Even with another career mode it still gets stuck on round 2 but it didn't for my team very weird
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Driver Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? idk ur broken game figure it out
What happens when the bug occurs? loading screen forever
What do you expect to see? Being able to play the game
For me as well, but I only get this problem when loading into circuits like Saudi Arabia, Australia, Mexico & Abu Dhabi in all kind of modes. The rest works for me on Time trial, Grand Prix etc.
did anyone try the tip rk0_c to verify the game files to see if that fixes the issue?
Please let me know if you still experience that issue after trying to repair / verify the game file.

SteamVR used to work just fine via my Link connection, but all of a sudden I can't run it. When I launch SteamVR it just shows me the darkened landscape loading screen. I'm on Version 13 and am wondering if that's the issue? Anyone else having problems starting SteamVR?
EDIT2: Link software is telling me there's a software update recommended for Oculusu Link (Beta) and to check the "About" section in my headset's settings...but there is nothing there. Everything is updated?

I'm unable to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I can't even load a save or start a new game. Instant crash to desktop and removing all the mods, tweaks, INI settings or having the game in its vanilla state doesn't seem to have any effect. Rolling back to previous version solves the problem but I don't plan to stick with older drivers just to play a 13 years old game. Any solution to this problem in the next release would be appreciated. I have a 6750 XT. I'm enjoying to overall experience but these minor things adds up.
Pretty much carried out the same steps as yourself, full reinstall of the game. Starts up fine, the moment you try to load or start a new game, intro will play, then when you get the the loading screen it lasts for about 2 seconds then crashes.
Worst thing about this whole ordeal is I had a pretty crowded mod base for my Tale of Two Wastelands installation. You know, the thing that merges Fallout 3 and New Vegas together. I basically nuked the whole thing in order to identify the problem. Well, I did, and I still can't play it. Let's hope for a swift and smooth solution. I'd make a joke about 7900 XTX not being enough to handle a game like New Vegas but I'd imagine it wouldn't be a very original one. Cheers!
Well, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having this happen. At least now I don't feel so cursed. Vanilla games wouldn't work so I went the TTW route thinking that would fix. It didn't. I tried so many different things for hours on end to figure out what was going on to no avail. I can load up into the main menu but as soon as I try to load in or start a new game it crashes to desktop after about 2 seconds of loading. On a 6950 XT.
You need to roll back your drivers to a 23.x.x pre 24.x.x. It looks like just general driver degradation which is very sad to see because I don't want to have to roll back my drivers every time I want to play one of my favorite games ever (New Vegas). Please fix this AMD!
Update:
Hey guys, I found a fix.
The fix is easy. Just grab DXVK and run the game in Windowed mode. If you do not run it Windowed, the game will be extremely extremely laggy
However, some might find that Windowed mode does not provide full resolution. To fix this, just run bethINI and set your settings there. Make sure to tick "windowed mode".
Done! Let me know if you guys have any questions
Purchased a new RX 6650 XT a few weeks ago that runs all my other games just fine. EXCEPT for FO3 & NV! Same issue as those above. Get to the loading screen and Crash To Desktop when continuing, loading a save, or starting a new one. I just switched from the green team(1060 3gb). I really hope the next driver release fixes this issue.
