Ember follows Finn as he becomes embroiled in the politics of a totarlian-magic school while dealing with his crippling guilt surrounding his wife's death. As Finn undercovers secrets within the academy he also discovers startling truths behind the A.I. controller called Alfred.

Biography: Pete MoorePete Moore (BA Hons, PGCE) is Director of Forest and Beach, an outdoor learning centre based in South Devon. A former Primary School teacher with 18 years' teaching experience, Pete and his wife Andrea (also a teacher) followed their passion for outdoor learning by creating FaB in 2013. FaB now delivers school residential visits, Forest School, INSET training and outdoor adventures for young children from all around the South Hams and further afield.

Biography: Sue WaiteSue Waite is Associate Professor (Reader) in Outdoor Learning at Plymouth Institute of Education. She has researched outdoor play and learning extensively, including Forest School, health and wellbeing from woodland activities, assessment outdoors and two ESRC funded projects. Her previous research in the social sciences helped design the Natural Connections Demonstration Project she recently led that worked with 125 schools across the southwest of England.
